PROJECT
The Swiss Austrian German Testicular Cancer Cohort Study (SAG TCCS) aims at registering the majority of testicular cancer patients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Scope of this cohort study is to record information on diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of testicular cancer patients and use the data for later analyses.
Data collection over a time period of 3 years will comprise patient baseline characteristics, treatment, follow-up investigations and outcome, late toxicities and secondary malignancies, mode of detection and stage of disease at relapse. Data will be entered in electronic case report forms locally; data will be saved and analyzed centrally at the Institute Social and Preventive Medicine (ISPM) in Bern. In addition we hope to obtain information on sexual health and socio-economic aspects.
